time it is a-flying

Well, the blog entry of early September, with the many remaining-unattached photos, never got posted. After several attempts (too many hours) of fighting with the blog set-up, I gave up. You'd be correct in assuming an overly busy summer. Autumn held a plethora of poor health -- nothing exciting, just colds and flus, etc. And a bit of work too.
But the new resolution is to have a 'proper posting' up before the end of this week. So, you patient and persistant folk, be prepared to see some change on this space which has remained so boringly unaltered for such a long stretch of time....
meanwhile, here are the only photos that seemed to be accepted by the ethereal blog-monster last autumn.....

(all are Pré Borel shots, plus a photo of the woodland mushrooms Greg picked and ate [and survived]...in a few you will see the Kiwi vine...you may remember that last year we had seven times as much as the previous owners [their 25 became 179 for us]...well, this year we had more than one thousand three hundred kiwis. The entire neighbourhood was well supplied, right up till Christmas!)
