Another piece of stability?

Many of you know now about the nuisance (!) of requiring brain surgery - something you can see more about on the dedicated blog over here - and the complications this has caused with respect to buying a house. For some reason, insurance companies are averse to people about to go to the operating theatre...

However, after several very complicated weeks, I am delighted to be able to say that we are moving into Pré Borel on the 8th of December! We'll have four days to install ourselves before moving to the hospital for the following few weeks, but once I am released, it will be great to be able to return to our own place!

We've agreed to rent the house at first, and then buy it in the new year. It's not the place to say more, but a BIG THANK YOU to several people. You know who you are...

Of course, if you're in the Grenoble area on the Friday evening (9th) or the Saturday (10th) - let me know - we'd love any extra pairs of hands for helping to move everything into the house!
